Student Success Statement  

           "Dare to do right." -Rex D. Pinegar  

From the story we heard we learned that Rex took on a dare. To run across the road before the car came. He knew the car was not so far and he did it anyways. He wanted to seem brave. Instead he got hit by the car. He caused pain to himself and his family. After this he knew he was foolish for taking on that dare. Even if we seem weak in front of our friends we must do what's right. We need to take on that dare. It's a dare because not always what's right is what's fun.
