Optometry Technician or Assistant
Duties and Responsibilities: Optometric technicians work with optometrists to assist in carrying out eye examinations and treatments. These technicians most frequently work in optometrists' office, but they may also be employed in eye care clinics and other facilities.
Salary: The median annual salary in 2015 was $30,590.
Education: To become an optometry technician you must at least have a high school diploma. An optometric technician training program or a 2 year associate degree would make you more competitive for the position.
Demand or Need for this profession: Employment in this field will grow 23% from 2014-2024.

Reflection: I would not like to be this. Anything career or job field that is on eye care I do not find interesting at all. If I were to follow this career I would get bored easily and would not be able to last.
