The Naturopathic Doctor
Duties and Responsibilities:  Naturopathic physicians combine the wisdom of nature with the rigors of modern science. They use protocols that minimize the risk of harm and help facilitate the body’s inherent ability to restore and maintain optimal health. It is the naturopathic physician’s role to identify and remove barriers to good health by helping to create a healing internal external environment. They treat are allergies, chronic pain, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, obesity, respiratory conditions, heart disease, fertility problems, menopause, adrenal fatigue, cancer, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. They can perform minor surgeries, such as removing cysts or stitching up superficial wounds but cannot perform major surgeries.
Salary: As of January 2016 according to AANMC the average salary for a naturopathic doctor or physician, a year was $73,412.
Education: In order to become a naturopathic doctor you must undergo a 4 year undergraduate degree and a professional medical degree along with educational training in complementary and alternative medicine.
Demand or Need for this profession: The AANMC showed a positive outlook and reported that the employment of doctors would grow faster than average through 2014. There is also a projected job growth of 14% from 2014-2024 which was based on BLS.
Reflection: Would you like to be this? Why? Why not?

This career doesn’t interest me that much so i do not think it would be a career that i choose. It is a good one but it just doesn't interest me.
