 Health Sciences Librarian
Duties and Responsibilities: A health science librarian provides medical information access through books, pamphlets, journals, tape, multimedia presentations and the internet. Health science librarians help health providers, patients and students sort through the vast information available. They are responsible for finding the most suitable resources.
Salary: The average pay for a health sciences librarian is $58,000. Pay varies and can change depending on the amount of experience and education. Location can also change the amount of pay.
Education: To begin students must graduate high school. Following that a four years bachelor degree is required. Some courses that must also be taken are science and computer science. A Master's degree in library science is mandatory.

Reflection: Would you like to be this? Why? Why not?
I would like to be this. It seems like an interesting and fun career. I would like it because you get to help others. You inform them on medical choices they make and you give them the information they need.
